My husband and I have lived in Billings, MT for 35 years. Prior to this we resided in the state of Washington. We have four sons and six grandchildren (five girls and one boy). My husband and I have been in the ministry for 46 years and served at our lat church for 33 years. I retired from 18 years of teaching elementary school in 2012 and Bob retired in 2014. We are enjoying the flexibility of our retirement years and, also, the opportunity to have more time for our grandchildren and to pursue activities we enjoy!
My husband's dream was to build a cabin at hungry Horse, MT - near Kalispell. We completed it three years ago in a lovely spot located near the north fork of the Flathead River, minutes from Glacier Park. We love it! I call it our "mountain retreat". It's especially fun to have friends and family gather to enjoy "a time away" during some of the summer months.

When I have/ take time I enjoy reading, writing, baking, painting, sewing, genealogy, and design. My husband's interests are more in the line of sports, gardening, hunting, fishing, and hiking. Opposites do attract!! We share the enjoyment of reading, travel, hunting for treasures at garage sales, loving our family and friends, and are still involved in ministry opportunities as they arise.

Words of Wisdom: My life's motto is a formula for peace that I found and adopted in my first year of college. "Praise + Poise + Prayer = Perfect Peace." This is based on a very important scripture found in Philippians 44-8. Also invaluable to me has been The Serenity Prayer. "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."
