Hello Classmates of 50 years ago. My name is Janet Blankenship Herbster. I've lived in West Hills, California in the San Fernando Valley for the past 50 years. Wow! Where did those years go?
I'm married to my loving husband Ken Herbster for 50 yrs. Yes, we married after high school.
We have 2 kids, daughter Cherice married for 25 yrs and has 3 grown children. Our son Keith has 3 children also. Yup, our grandchildren are the best.
I'm a registered nurse for almost 40 years now. I've worked in many hospitals and now work in an ambulatory surgery center close to home. I'm a charge nurse of a GI suite (my passion) also work in patient admitting and recovery room.
I have traveled throughout our nation and Alaska as well as the South Pacific, England, Italy, Switzerland and I'm not done yet....
My life is rich and very busy with family, friends and I'm still working full time. God has blessed me.
