Aaniin, at first I was not going to write anything about my life however after reading the testimonials from many of the class of “66” I thought better. Once I graduated I spent some time in wondering what I was going to do with my life. When I figured it out I enrolled in UMD and completed a double major and minor in teaching. I spent several years at St. Scholastica as an assistant professor in American Indian Studies. After I did that for a while I became Superintendent for the school I assisted in developing on my reservation, also became Superintendent of schools for Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Tribe in Wisconsin. Went back to UMD and completed two masters, one Masters in Education and the other a Masters of Tribal Administration and Governance.
I have been married a few time have several children and two grandchildren. I retired once but did not like it so back to work. Currently I am doing Project Management for the Three Affiliated Tribes of North Dakota, building a town on White Shield.
I enjoy bodybuilding have competed in several competitions over the past thirty years, also enjoy golf. One of these days I may attend a reunion.
