It's been 35 years since I opened my Central High Trojan year book. The years gone by are rich with the bittersweet nuance and somber beauty of the once-was. If we're lucky, our name tags will portray our youthful optimism so everyone knows who everyone is.
Although I never graduated from Central High, moving to Oregon in November of 65 my most memorable years of youth and vitality centered itself in the delusions that everything was possible, little did I know the basis of such expectations was sheer terror.
How life has changed for it is better to have a permanent income than to be fascinating, for there are only two kinds of people who are really fascinating - people who know
absolutely everything and people who know absolutely nothing.
