Where does the time go? It's hard to believe that it's been 50 years already. My husband, Art, and I met at the DECC's first concert - the "Beach Boys" 50 years ago. Next year will be our 50th wedding anniversary. We have a daughter, Julie, who has 2 daughters and a son, and we now have a great granddaughter. Our son, John, was killed in1989, but left behind a son and we now have 2 great grandsons. Love spending time with the little ones.

I retired 2 years ago after working for over 20 years with Arrowhead Regional Corrections as an information specialist. I worked at the Duluth Courthouse, the Arrowhead Juvenile Center and also at the Northeast Regional Corrections Center.

So now, retirement is great. More time to spend with the family, camping and working on genealogy. Hope to be able to do some traveling.

I live in a rural area about 30 miles from Duluth, but our plans are to downsize soon and move closer to Duluth - the city I've always loved.
